DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of Coordinator for Water and Cryosphere and in cooperation with WMO staff involved in supporting the water and climate coalition (www.water-climate-coalition.org), the incumbent will:
Help organize meetings of the coalition members and the leaders
Help supporting the expert group and be the link between the experts in between leaders meetings
Help coordinating the cooperation between the members in the activity matrix
Assist in monitoring the progress of the coalition's activities
Particiapte in outreach activities to motivate contributions from different sectors
Support the presentation of the coalition at various international meetings
Coordinate within WMO between the coalition and other water and climate activities and groups (e.g. HydroSOS)
Research and review international water (and climate) policy milestones and synergise into background information for the work of the coalition
Help in conceptualizing and implementing indicators to describe and communicate climate change impact on water cycle
Contribute to reports

QUALIFICATIONS
|
Education
Degree in water, climate or international relations.
|
