DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Head of the CREWS Secretariat, the intern will be engaged in the following tasks:
 Communication activities of the CREWS initiative, including Steering Committee meetings, secretariat activities, progress of country and regional projects
 Collecting stories from the implementing partners and writing stories of human interest
 Supporting the documentation of lessons coming out of different interventions for the website and social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Linkedin)
 Assisting in the preparation of information materials such as press releases, fact sheets, powerpoint presentations, video presentations, among others
 Other activities as advised by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
At least a Bachelors Degree in communications, journalism or other relevant discipline.

Experience
Experience in media, public information and dissemination, and writing for the web and social media focusing on development issues would be an advantage.

Other requirements
Competencies: Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines  Good communication, persuasion and negotiating skills  The ability to work in a multicultural environment  Gender-sensitive behaviour and attitude  Good interpersonal and communication skills

Languages
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
