DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Head of Technical Coordination and GFCS Unit of the Services Department the intern will:

- Identify and compile studies already carried out under extrabudgetary projects.
- Establish a tool for monitoring SEB studies in progress and those planned, establishing search and analysis categories.
- Generate a list of partners, consultants and agencies developing these studies in association with WMO.
- Compile the methodologies used and generate recommendations.
- Assist projects that have SEB studies planned in the development of concept notes and assist in the provision of background information for each proposal.
- Compile ToRs developed in previous SEB studies and assist in the drafting of ToRs.
- Assist in the development of a common approach between SEB studies in extrabudgetary projects.
- Assist in the development of SEB workplans and map of partners.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
University degree in political sciences, international relations, economics, finance, administration, or other relevant field related to the subject of matter.

Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the internship programme.


Other requirements
Proficient knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office.

Languages
Excellent knowledge of English and/or other WMO official languages. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
