DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Head of Technical Coordination and GFCS (Global Framework for Climate Services) Unit of the Services Department, the intern will:
- Document examples of good practices in monitoring tools to provide proposal ideas for monitoring strategic plans, investment plans and implementation plans, either on national, sub-regional or regional level;
- Assist in the development of a flexible monitoring tool for the ECOWAS Hydromet Initiative;
- Provide additional support/assistance to the ECOWAS, ECCAS and AMCOMET teams and priority initiatives as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
|
Education
University degree in political sciences, international relations, finance, administration, or other relevant field related to the subject of matter.
|
Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the internship programme.
|
Other requirements
Proficient knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office.
|
Languages
Excellent knowledge of English and/or other WMO official languages. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
