DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work programme: Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW)

-To support the administrative tasks (clean minutes, drafting mails, updating mail lists, follow up on activities from meetings, contacting focal points, writing invitation letters) linked to the coordination of the Expert Teams and Scientific Advisory Groups in atmospheric composition,

-To support the administrative tasks linked to the capacity development in GAW: Intercomparisons, preparation of workshops/trainings,

-To follow up with the GAW station application process,
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelor or Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Sciences. A specialisation in sustainable and Urban Development is desirable as well as knowledge of atmospheric composition requirements.

Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience. Any experience related to operational management and managing online events will be asset.

Other requirements
Able to work independently and with minimum supervision in a team environment. Excellent knowledge of written and oral communication. Good knowledge and experience with social media, websites.

Languages
Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other WMO official languages is desirable.
