CREWS Secretariat (CREWS)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision and guidance of the Head of the CREWS Secretariat (CREWS), the incumbent will perform the following duties:

(a) Support the administrative, travel, logistical and procurement requirements for efficient functioning of the CREWS Secretariat;

(b) Liaise and maintain close working relationship with the Administrative, Travel, Procurement, HR and finance teams for smooth workflow and completion of tasks;

(c) Assist with the arrangements for CREWS Steering Committee meetings, inter-sessional meetings and related events;

(d) Assist communication with Members of the CREWS Steering Committee through drafting of meeting notes, documents and other materials, as instructed, on the key issues discussed at meetings;

(e) Assist in resource mobilization efforts, within limits of delegated authority, including organizing donors' briefings and discussions, arranging travel/missions of the Chief of CREWS Secretariat to capitals, organize meetings, itineraries and other related documents;

(f) Assist in other related matters, as instructed by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Master's degree or equivalent in international relations, business administration, international development or a closely related field, or a bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant work experience.

Experience
A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience in national or international public administration, programme management, planning, international development or similar. Experience in international or multilateral organizations would be an advantage.

Other requirements
Sense of integrity, responsibility, maturity of judgement, initiative and creativity. Good analytical, data management, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage multiple workloads. Ability to work in a multicultural environment and to foster diversity and team spirit.

Languages
Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written). Knowledge of other official languages of the Organization would be an advantage.

(Note: The official languages of the Organization are Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.)
SALARY AND ALLOWANCES

Annual net base salary on initial appointment is: US$ 50377

Annual post adjustment on initial salary is: US$ 48009 (in addition to the net base salary)
